On November 9, 2026, Arrow is releasing the Blu-ray set for 1971’s The Blade Spares None and 1972’s The Hurricane, two Golden Harvest martial arts classics starring Nora Miao (The Skyhawk).
Directed by Teddy Yip Wing-Cho (Walk on Fire), The Blade Spares None that revolves around Ho Li Chun, a skilled swordswoman (Miao) who enters a fighting contest at a prince’s palace. She soon learns that the prince has been killed and replaced by his enemy, Sun Tien Chen. With the help of two knights, Ho fights to stop Sun and save the palace.
In Lo Wei’s (The Big Boss) The Hurricane, an unsuspecting swordsman (Miao) is used by a power-hungry chief minister to betray China’s emperor.
Collectively, the films also star Patrick Tse (The Invincible Eight), James Tien (The Shaolin Plot), Sammo Hung (The Double Crossers), Lam Ching Ying (Hocus Pocus), Paul Chang Chung (Fantasy Mission Force), Eddie Ko Hung (Heroes Shed No Tears), Lo Wei (Seaman No. 7), Gam Chuen (The Invisible Sabre), Shih Kien (Enter the Dragon), Stanley Fung Sui-Fan (Winners & Sinners), and features an early appearances by Jackie Chan (Shaolin Wooden Men) and Mars Cheung Wing-Fat (Bruce Lee: The Invincible).
