“Zombie Plane” Theatrical Poster

Martial arts legend Chuck Norris (Code of Silence, Slaughter in San Francisco) is teaming up with Vanilla Ice (Cool as Ice) and Sophie Monk (Click) in Zombie Plane, an upcoming Australian production from Radioactive and Entertainment Squad.

Directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier, Zombie Plane centers on a secret government organization that recruits celebrities to be undercover agents, who together must save humanity from an imminent zombie attack. Norris, Ice and Monk play themselves (actually, Norris plays Commander Chuck Norris, who mentored and trained Ice into becoming a deadly secret agent), but the feature is reportedly full of of celebrity cameos, with a ’90s pop soundtrack including tracks by Ice himself (via THR).

“Cash Calls Hell” Theatrical Poster

On January 28, 2025, Film Movement will be releasing a New 2K Restoration Blu-ray for Cash Calls Hell, a 1966 crime thriller from director Hideo Gosha (Sword of the Beast).

Facing the final days of his prison sentence for vehicular manslaughter, Oida (Tatsuya Nakadai) dreads reentering society as a ruined man with no future prospects. On November 25, 2024, 88 Films is releasing a Deluxe Blu-ray (Region B) for Black Cat 2, a 1992 Hong Kong action film directed by Stephen Shin Gei Yin (Brotherhood) that stars Jade Leung (Satin Steel) and Robin Shou (Cyprus Tigers).

Scientists install a micro chip, called Black Cat, inside the brain of a violence prone girl named Catherine in an attempt to refine and control her fits of rage. Their plan is to turn her into the perfect government secret agent “killing machine”.

Black Cat 2 also stars Mike Miller (Knock Off), Jack Wong Wai-Leung (God of Gamblers), Wan Seung-Lam (Police Story 3) and Steve Brettingham (Knock Off).
