Samurai Fury (aka Muromachi Burai or Muromachi Outsiders) is a 2025 samurai actioner directed by Yu Irie (Ninja Girl, 8000 Miles).
As famine and plague ravage 15th century Japan, the laconic shogun watches and does nothing to help his countrymen. Rebellious wanderer Hasuda Hyoe has seen enough and plots to depose the shogun and save Japan from self-imposed devastation.
Starring Oizumi Yo (I Am A Hero) as the heroic Hyoe, Samurai Fury pits this hero against his one-time friend Honekawa Doken, the iconic Shin’ichi Tsutsumi (Why Don’t You Play in Hell?) in an epic fight for survival.
The film also stars Miyu Yoshimoto (Lady in White), Ken’ichi Yajima (Sonatine), Aoi Nakamura (Tokyo Salad Bowl), Kazuki Kitamura (Silent Parade), Yûya Endô (Juvenile) and Rina Takeda (Re:Born).

From acclaimed filmmaker Yukisada Isao (Go) comes Revolver Lily, an upcoming stylish action-thriller that’s based on the novel of the same name by Kyo Nagaura.
The film stars Ayase Haruka (Our Little Sister, Ichi) – who was nominated for Best Actress at the 2024 Japanese Academy Awards for her work in the title role – as one of Japan’s deadliest assassins, who may be retired and working as a brothel madam, but when her former colleague dies, she uses her still formidable skills to rack up an impressive body count to protect his young son.

In Li Liming’s Ip Man: Kung Fu Legend, Dennis To revisits the role of Ip Man, the real-life Wing Chun grandmaster made famous to the mainstream by Wilson Yip and Donnie Yen’s iconic Ip Man franchise.
British merchants and Chinese triads have joined forces. This move draws fierce opposition from Ip Man, who is standing up for the workers. Framed for murder, he is sent to prison. Within the prison walls, the triads set multiple deadly traps. Can Ip Man overcome these trials, escape the danger and clear his name?
Also starring in Ip Man: Kung Fu Legend is Zhou Xiaofei (Ip Man 4: The Finale), Steven Dasz (Armour of God III: Chinese Zodiac) and Zhang Tingfei (Coming Home).
