Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey returns to the screen with the sci-fi actioner Holiguards Saga: The Portal of Force, the opening chapter in the ambitious Statiguards vs. Holiguards franchise. In addition to starring, Spacey also directs the film.
In a divided future, ancient Holiguards and Statiguards fight secretly for humanity. A woman discovers she’s born to rival leaders as a Statiguard plans to attack Paris and unleash the Prime.
The film features an all-star cast that includes Dolph Lundgren (Hellfire), Eric Roberts (Best of the Best), Disha Patani (Kung Fu Yoga), Tyrese Gibson (Fast & Furious), Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool), Swen Temmel (Cash Out), Harry Goodwins (One Spoon Of Chocolate) and Lado Okhotnikov, who also serves as co-writer (along with Sergey Torchilin).
🔥 Footnote: The film marks Kevin Spacey’s first time behind the camera since 2004’s Beyond the Sea. It’s also one of only a handful of films he’s appeared in since sexual misconduct allegations against him surfaced in 2017. I’ll bet you guys a million bucks that Spacey and Armie Hammer team up for a movie sooner or later.
