Martial arts star Scott Adkins (Ip Man 4, Avengement) will return as Mike Fallon for Sony Entertainment and Six Demon Films’ Accident Man 2: Hitman’s Holiday, the follow-up to the 2018 actioner Accident Man, which was helmed Jesse V. Johnson (Debt Collectors, Triple Threat).
Frequent Adkins collaborator Stu Small (Avengement, Accident Man, The Debt Collector, The Debt Collectors) also returns for the screenplay.
New cast additions include former Jackie Chan Stunt Team member and martial arts star Andy Long Nguyen (Luc Van Tien: Tuyet Dinh Kungfu, Armor of God 3: Chinese Zodiac), as well as former Wushu Champion/actress Sarah Chang (Circle of Bones, Blood Hunter: Rise of the Hybrids).
Accident Man 2: Hitman’s Holiday will mark the feature-length debut for independent filmmaking duo George and Harry Kirby. According to FCS: The Kirby siblings have long been a staple in the independent arena online working a multitude of fan-driven projects through their K&K Productions label. Additionally, George Kirby brings a mass of eight years of experience next to his brother, along with accruing numerous A-list stunt credits including Marvel’s Doctor Strange, American Assassin and Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
The Accident Man is back and this time he must best the top assassins in the world, to protect the ungrateful son of a mafia boss, save the life of his only friend and rekindle his relationship with his maniacal father figure.
Accident Man was a character created by Pat Mills in 1991, which featured in the UK comic Toxic! While the comic lasted less than a year, Accident Man proved to be one of its most memorable characters, about a hitman by the name of Mike Fallon who specializes in making his hits look like accidents.
Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday opens in theaters, digital, and On Demand on October 14, 2022. Check out the film’s New Trailer below:
This is shaping up to be very interesting. Can’t wait to see Sarah Chang in action. I do wish that Amy Johnston came back as Jill’s twin sister.
Cool looking trailer! Glad we don’t have to wait long for the movie!
I hope this does really well. Scott Adkins is incredible and truly deserves the best.
I’ve got the feeling I won’t like it as much as the first one though.
The original Accident Man is one of my favourite Scott Adkins movies, it pretty much combines all that like about him. For me, it’s a movie that just gets nearly everything right.
As for this sequel, the more colourful vibe suits a comics-based film and it seems genuinely funny. But at the same time I’m afraid they ended up leaning too much on comedy and making Mike Fallon less of a badass.
