  1. Henry McKeand says:

One of Jackie’s best. Would love to see the original cuts of the Operation Condor films get the blu-ray treatment.

  2. Dan says:

Sounds great and all but then I click on the link it says Region B only. Am I missing something here?

    • GARY REYES says:

You are looking at the older versions of the blu ray. This 4K version comes out in August.
      Glad I don’t have a 4k player.

      • Dan says:

Yeah I’m a dork. Noticed that almost immediately afterwards but couldn’t delete my post. Thanks for the clarification though.

  3. Craig R says:

A new blu-ray Region A of ‘Dragons Forever’ was, according to Amazon.ca, to be released Aug. 23, 2022. I had it on pre-order for a couple of months. First thing on Aug. 23 I checked Amazon (Canada) and what do I see? “Temporarily Out of Stock”. So I checked Amazon.com (USA) to see what their status was. According to them, the new blu-ray won’t be released until Sept. 13, 2022. So what’s the story? Were there so many people wanting this title that the stock was depleted Aug. 23rd on Amazon.ca, or is it actually being released North America wide on Sept. 13th?

  4. Jeff says:

What’s up with the release date for this continually being pushed back? First it was August, then September, October and now, November. Once it nears the date it gets postponed over and over again. Very Frustrating. I would’ve preordered this but the constant delays made me decide to hold off. Are they ever going to release this dvd?!

    • JJ Bona says:

Noticed that too. It’s an 88 Films thing. =) But you can’t deny the great product they put out!

      • Jeff says:

If it’s an 88 Films thing, how come it hasn’t happened to any of their Shaw Brothers releases? Speaking of which, do you have any info on any updates from them for the upcoming new year with regards to releasing more Shaw Brothers? I know Shawscope vol. 2 is coming soon from Arrow Films but I’m looking forward more to the individual releases by 88 Films.

        • JJ Bona says:

Good point about their Shaw releases. I say no more. =) As far as potential future Shaw releases, I haven’t heard any official statements, but with the way they have been churning out titles, I’m sure we’ll here some news soon.

        • Josh says:

Their Shaw Bros titles weren’t from newer remasters and typically aren’t as feature-filled so, I imagine, they don’t take as much time to prepare. It’s common for 88 Films to delay their big ticket titles like this and Righting Wrongs since they have to manage different cuts, audio options, more features, etc.
