A Fistful of Stances | S01 E19 | 9/4/26
A Fistful of Stances is a 2010 Hong Kong TVB series produced and created by Lee Tim-shing (Happy Go Lucky).
Ku Yu Cheung (Kevin Cheng, Invincible Dragon) comes home after many years. His mother (Yuen Qiu, The Shadow’s Edge) is happy to see him, but things are not okay. His brother (Kenneth Ma, The Final Shot) is very sick, and his father has been killed by a cruel enemy, Wing Tak (Dominic Lam, Crocodile Tears).
Yu Cheung wants justice. He learns a strong new kung fu style and joins a big fighting contest. In the final match, he must face Wing Man Kwan (Jacky Heung, 100 Yards), the enemy’s son. When the truth comes out, the fight becomes bigger than ever. Now, Yu Cheung must win… or lose everything.
Operation Hadal | 9/11/26
Director Dante Lam (Beast Cops, The Rescue) has been reliably turning out hard-hitting films that have helped expand the scope of the action/thriller genre in Hong Kong and his newest film, Operation Hadal (aka Operation Leviathan) – the follow up to 2016’s Operation Mekong and 2018’s Operation Red Sea – will continue the tradition.
Operation Hadal stars Xuan Huang (Extraordinary Mission), Yosh Yu (Born to Fly), Zhang Hanyu (Manhunt), Karry Wang (The Great Wall), Luxia Jiang (Double World), Chen Li (Never Say Never), Cory Beeston (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Yihong Duan (Wind Blast) and Ivan Kostadinov (Boyka: Undisputed IV).
For Operation Hadal, you can obviously expect more of Lam’s knack for explosions, vehicular chaos, unlimited bullets and military hardware galore. | Read our review.

A Fistful of Stances | S01 E20 | 9/11/26
A continuing episode of A Fistful of Stances, a 2010 Hong Kong TVB series produced and created by Lee Tim-shing (Happy Go Lucky). It stars Kevin Cheng (Invincible Dragon), Yuen Qiu (The Shadow’s Edge), Kenneth Ma (The Final Shot), Dominic Lam (Crocodile Tears) and Jacky Heung (100 Yards).
Ip Man: Kung Fu Legend (Hi-YAH! Exclusive) | 9/18/26
Dennis To revisits the role of Ip Man, the real-life Wing Chun grandmaster made famous to the mainstream by Wilson Yip and Donnie Yen’s iconic Ip Man franchise.
The film is directed by Li Liming, best known for 2020’s Young Ip Man: Crisis Time (starring Zhao Wenhao as Ip Man) and Ip Man: Kung Fu Master (2019) — the latter serving as the direct predecessor to Ip Man: Kung Fu Legend.
British merchants and Chinese triads have joined forces. This move draws fierce opposition from Ip Man, who is standing up for the workers. Framed for murder, he is sent to prison. Within the prison walls, the triads set multiple deadly traps. Can Ip Man overcome these trials, escape the danger and clear his name?
Also starring in Ip Man: Kung Fu Legend is Zhou Xiaofei (Ip Man 4: The Finale), Steven Dasz (Armour of God III: Chinese Zodiac) and Zhang Tingfei (Coming Home). The film features martial arts choreography by Sun Fei, who is known for his work in 2003’s Warriors of Heaven and Earth and 2006’s The Banquet.
Ip Man: Kung Fu Legend marks Dennis To’s 4th time playing the titular character, following 2010’s Ip Man: The Legend is Born, 2018’s Kung Fu League and 2019’s Ip Man: Kung Fu Master. | Read our review.

731 | 9/25/26
Directed by Linshan Zhao (The Assassins), 731 (aka Evil Unbound) revolves around a real-life facility that was responsible for large-scale biological and chemical warfare research, as well as lethal human experimentation.
731 will most definitely be compared to the similarly themed 1988’s Men Behind the Sun, as being one of the most controversial movies ever made.
731 is set against the backdrop of the bacterial experiments conducted by the Japanese Imperial Army’s Unit 731 in Northeast China, and reveals the crimes of Unit 731 through the turbulent fate of an ordinary individual.
The film stars Wu Jiang (A Touch of Sin), Zhiwen Wang (Battle of the Warriors), Naiwen Li (Mr. Right), Qian Sun (Wild Bloom), Wenjuan Feng (Operation Mekong), Irene Wan (All of a Sudden), Yu Li (Iron Mask), Guangyu Xu (Polar Rescue) and Changde Liu (The Rhapsody of A Summer Dream).
