On July 23, 2026, Netflix will debut The Debt Collector, a Thai action film from writer-director Surapong Ploensang (Cracked), starring Nadech Kugimiya (Death Whisperer) in the lead role.
Haunted by guilt after prison, a former debt collector (Kugimiya) races against a terminal illness, returning to his old world to avenge loan shark victims.
The Debt Collector also stars Daou Pittaya Saechua (Century of Love) and Chaiwat Thongsaeng (Bangkok Love Story).
🔥 Footnote: This is not a remake of, nor does it have any connection to, the Jesse V. Johnson/Scott Adkins film of the same name. This one takes a much darker path, embracing a heavy noir influence with stylish camera work, a gritty atmosphere, and some seriously brutal action (maybe not Furious brutal, but still worth a look).
