I am quite tired of this. So many of the people that made these films great are passing, and no one (or very few of us) is taking the time to get their stories before they leave us. Their legacies deserve preservation…..especially Carl Scott’s, as he was a sort of milestone in the genre. Even though he was only in a handful of films, they were highly influential to a lot of filmgoers, as well as martial artists. I would have loved to hear from Carl as to his life and experience. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying COF is at fault…..they do a stellar job at keeping us informed. If anything, I am kicking myself for not doing exactly what I am upset about…..searching out these people and hoping they will give us the time for us to listen to their experiences in the HK film industry and martial arts. So little really is known about what was once an amazing time in cinema. Whatever the case may be…Carl Scott’s memory is definitely still with us through these VERY kick ass films.
