On July 27, 2026, 88 Films is releasing the Blu-ray (Region B) for the Shaw Brothers Triple Feature, which includes 1983’s Shaolin Intruders, 1982’s Shaolin Prince and 1980’s Two Champions of Shaolin.
Three Shaw classics are bought together in a brand new boxset as part of the 88 Asia numbered collection #52, #53, #54. It features new artwork by “Kung Fu Bob” O’Brien.
Directed by Tang Chia (Opium and the Kung Fu Master), Shaolin Intruders is a martial arts mystery starring Derek Yee (Legend of the Bat), Jason Pai Piao (Amsterdam Connection), and Lau Yuk Pok (Secret Service of the Imperial Court). When a group of martial arts clan leaders are killed by masked fighters using Shaolin techniques, three men begin digging into the mystery and trace it back to a dangerous temple hiding dark secrets. What starts as a search for answers soon turns into a deadly game of revenge, betrayal, and brutal martial arts combat.
Shaolin Prince follows twin princes separated at birth after their father is killed by the evil 9th Prince. One brother grows up in the Shaolin Temple under the care of the goofy “3 Holy Fools,” while the other is raised by a loyal Prime Minister. Years later, the two finally cross paths and team up to take down the man who stole their kingdom. This film is directed by Tang Chia (Shaolin Intruders) and stars Ti Lung (The Snake Prince), Derek Yee (Legend of the Bat) and Jason Pai Piao (Killer Constable).
Two Champions of Shaolin follows Shaolin loyalist Tung Chien chen, who is fighting to bring down the Qing Dynasty. His mission puts him up against the Wu Tang Clan, who are backing the Qing. What follows is a steady buildup to a series of hard hitting, fast moving fight scenes with plenty of rivalries and old school martial arts intensity. Directed by Chang Cheh (Five Element Ninjas), the film stars Lo Meng (Ten Tigers from Kwangtung), Chiang Sheng (Exciting Dragon), Lu Feng (Death Ring), Yu Tai-Ping (Masked Avengers) and Sun Chien (Angry Ranger).
