Stuntman-turned filmmaker James Bamford (Jade, The Last Gunfight) returns in full John Woo-mode with The Internship, an upcoming thriller starring Lizzy Greene (Ransom Canyon).

In The Internship, a ruthless, highly trained assassin (Greene), raised from childhood in a top-secret CIA program known only as The Internship, is ready to dismantle the institution that stole her youth. Assembling her fellow interns, she leads a bloody uprising – forcing the CIA to unleash equally lethal force to stop them.

The film also stars Megan Boone (The Blacklist), Sky Katz (One Stupid Thing), Philip Winchester (The Player), Alix Villaret (Utopia), Ollie Roddy (The Sunshine Murders) and Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire).

The Internship is now available on Digital from Paramount Global Content Distribution. Until then, check out an impressive action clip (via Action-Flix), followed by the Trailer:

Where’s Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn?

I saw this trailer a few weeks ago. It looks kind of cool, but I’m not getting a lot of Woo-isms other than the double pistols. There seems to be more of a Bourne Identity aesthetic with some stylish choices. I am sure that the anti-woke bitches of the world will invent reasons to complain!

I hate fascists from the left just as much as fascists from the right.
