On March 31, 2026, U.S. label Discotek Media is releasing the Blu-ray (Region A) for 2004’s Sars Wars, a Thai horror-comedy from director Taweewat Wantha (Death Whisperer series).
In 2004 Thailand, a smug SARS-free paradise crumbles when a mutant virus, smuggled by a bug, zombifies a Bangkok apartment block. Enter the ragtag heroes: battery-powered sword master Master Thep, virgin rescuer Khun Krabii, feisty kidnappee Liu, and exploding-vaccine doc Dr. Diana.
Armed with machetes, swords, and zero budget, they slice through undead hordes in a glorious mess of blood, boobs, and Star Wars jokes so bad you’ll need a vaccine against cringe. It’s Shaun of the Dead on ya ba, Attack of the Clones on crack, and the greatest Thai zombie flick you’ll ever see while questioning your life choices.
