On July 30, 2025, Imprint is releasing the Blu-ray (Region B) for 1971’s The Lady Hermit. This Shaw Brothers wuxia epic stars Cheng Pei-Pei (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), teaming up with director Ho Meng-Hua (The Oily Maniac) to create an action-packed, sword-slashing martial arts adventure with fierce female warriors.
Young swordswoman Chui-ping (Shih-szu) idolises the great and mysterious Lady Hermit, a master of kung fu, and enlists her help and tutelage to defeat the evil Black Demon and his minions. Fellow swordswoman Chang-cun joins them, complicating their fight for victory.
