Ku Yu Cheung (Kevin Cheng, Invincible Dragon) comes home after many years. His mother (Yuen Qiu, The Shadow’s Edge) is happy to see him, but things are not okay. His brother (Kenneth Ma, The Final Shot) is very sick, and his father has been killed by a cruel enemy, Wing Tak (Dominic Lam, Crocodile Tears).

Yu Cheung wants justice. He learns a strong new kung fu style and joins a big fighting contest. In the final match, he must face Wing Man Kwan (Jacky Heung, 100 Yards), the enemy’s son. When the truth comes out, the fight becomes bigger than ever. Now, Yu Cheung must win… or lose everything.

During the Republic of China era, pirate leader Cai Yan is framed and pretends to have lost his memory in order to take refuge at the Southern Shaolin Temple. When the monks come under threat from pirates, Cai Yan is inspired by their willingness to protect the local villagers and eventually becomes one of their fierce defenders.

Jet Li makes his directorial debut in this 1986 martial arts actioner that also goes by the names Born to Defend and Final Fight. Set after World War II, Li plays a war veteran who returns home to China only to find American sailors abusing local citizens. When their actions escalate, he is forced to fight back.

The Kung Fu Master | S01 E01 | 10/23/26

Donnie Yen stars as legendary martial artist Hung Hei Gun in this 1994 ATV series. After returning home following an eight year absence, Hung Hei Gun becomes increasingly frustrated with his father, who works for the Qing government. When a local dispute leads to a challenge against a powerful fighter, Hung Hei Gun finds himself drawn deeper into a world of martial arts and political conflict.

Directed by Benny Chan (Raging Fire), The Kung Fu Master also stars Nick Cheung (Bursting Point).

The Kung Fu Master | S01 E02 | 10/30/26

The Donnie Yen series continues… Hung Hei Gun (Yen) becomes even more disillusioned with his father after witnessing the lengths he will go to in order to save his son. After rescuing members of the anti Qing Sun Moon Society, Hung Hei Gun expresses his desire to join their cause, while a dangerous plot threatens to turn the people against the resistance.
