Hong Kong legend Sammo Hung (Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In) returns to the big screen in Go For Broke 2 (aka Rebirth 2), an upcoming thriller from writer, director and star, Marc Ma Yuhe (Wolf Hiding, Shock Wave 2). The film is the thematic sequel to Ma’s 2024 hit, Go For Broke (aka Rebirth).
After their children fall victim to abuse, Xila and Su Cheng join forces to uncover the truth behind the crimes. As they expose a dark web of corruption and conspiracy, the two risk everything in their pursuit of justice and revenge, confronting their painful pasts along the way.
Sammo Hung is part of a cast that includes Isabella Leong (Isabella), Wen Junhui (The Shadow’s Edge), Bai Ke (The Mermaid), Alan Aruna (Legends of the Condor Heroes: The Gallants), Wang Longzheng (High Forces), Zhong Ze Xiang aka Casper (Battle of Hip Hopera), Danny Chan Kwok Kuen (Ip Man 4: The Finale) and Liu Yuze (The Gods).
🔥 Footnote: The original Go For Broke, which starred Nick Cheung (Bursting Point) and Ethan Juan (The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon), was a commercial success in China, grossing approximately $65 million at the box office.
