Hope anyone who dismissed Jet Li’s Hitman before gives it another chance now. I was one such fool in my teenage years because I expected every Jet Li movie to be like Fist of Legend. Now I appreciate Hitman for showing off Jet Li using different techniques like close quarters combat while still maintaining his gracefulness, along with the film’s humor.
C’mon Mr. Hernandez, next you’ll be saying we should re-evaluate ‘Black Mask’. 🙂
Weird that I should see something about Hitman here, saw it years ago, thought it wasn’t half-bad, and was thinking that I should re-visit it again. Plus Jet Li was kind of funny in it, too. It’s significant mainly because it was Jet Li ‘s last HK film before he went to Hollywood. Wouldn’t mind seeing it again, since it was action-packed and suspenseful.
I’m rather fond of Hitman. It’s one of the few Jet Li films I’ve seen, to be fair! Still waiting for proper remasters of all those Dimension pick-ups!
