From writer/director Philip Yung (Port of Call) comes Where the Wind Blows (formerly Theory of Ambitions), an all-star 1960s crime saga that hit festival screens earlier this year.
Where the Wind Blows follows Lui Lok, a police officer who decides to make a name for himself within the police force by controlling organized crime.
The film features an all-star cast that includes Tony Leung Chiu Wai (The Grandmaster), Aaron Kwok (Project Gutenberg), Patrick Tam (Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy) and Michael Chow (Police Story 2) as corrupt cops Nan Kong, Lee Rock, Hon Sum and Ngan Hung. Michael Hui (The Private Eyes) and Du Juan (Europe Raiders) co-star (via AFS).
An official release date is still pending. Until then, watch the Trailer for the Where the Wind Blows below:
Finally, a long awaited trailer, though still not release date. The Big Four Corrupt Detective Sergeants of Hong Kong have been done to death, but I’m still game for a Tony Leung-Aaron Kwok collab.
