88 Films’ Deluxe Blu-ray (Region A/B) Collection for The Long Arm of the Law Collection, which includes 1984’s The Long Arm of the Law and 1987’s The Long Arm of the Law 2, is now available!
Directed by Johnny Mak (To be Number One) and his brother, Michael Mak (Butterfly and Sword) respectively, these two movies are packed full of Hong Kong-style action sequences, thrills, and spills, and provide an explosive prelude to what would eventually become a quadrilogy of martial arts thrillers.
Collectively, the films star Chen Jing (Seven Warriors), Kong Lung (One Armed Swordsmen), Ben Lam Kwok Bun (Angry Ranger), David Lam Wai (Circus Kid), Ng Hoi Tin (Tragic Hero), Shum Wai (Bloody Brotherhood), Stephen Chan Tak Gwong (Organized Crime and Triad Bureau), Hon Yee Sang (Drunken Master 2), Alex Man Chi Leung (Godfather’s Daughter Mafia Blues), Elvis Tsui Kam Kong (Shaolin Intruders) and Pauline Wong Siu Fung (Mr. Vampire 2).
