Few actors get to portray a character that comes to embody a franchise so much, their name brings more recognition than the franchise itself. Rambo did it with the 1st Rambo sequel, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Braddock did it with the 3rd Missing in Action entry, Braddock: Missing in Action III, and our friends at Golden Harvest attempted the same principle when they finally took The Master off the shelf, and re-titled it Wong Fei Hung ‘92. To add to the prestigious roll call, in 2016 Nu Image made it clear that the name Boyka now meant more than Undisputed, the series in which he was first introduced Continue reading

E governance In India

E governance In India

Marriage has great importance in all cultures. It is believed to be scared right where two individuals agree to spend their rest of lives together. In India, a person can register about their marriage under two acts of Hindu marriage act 1955 and Special marriage act 1954. Both acts have their terms and conditions that we will discuss in the later section. First, let’s discuss a marriage certificate and its importance.

What is a marriage certificate?

The marriage certificate is an important document issued by the government officials stating about the name of the couple, date, place, time, and more. This document officially declares a couple as married in the eyes of jurisdiction. Every country holds a special value for this certificate. In India, it gives you legal right for financial and legal benefits. But, to avail of these advantages, a copy of the marriage certificate is required.

What is the Importance of marriage certificate in a couple’s life?

Marriage document holds a great significance in the lives of a couple. They declare them a couple to enjoy their rights in society. If you have a marriage proof that is the marriage certificate, you can do the following things:

1. Start a joint account on the name of a couple.

2. File joint federal and state tax returns.

3. Hold rights to get family/marriage rates on necessities such as healthcare, vehicle, insurance, and more.

4. If you married, the government provides subsidies and less interest rate on home loans to women.

5. It is an important document for the safety of a woman’s future, confidence, and rights in the country.

Now, we will discuss some common and government situations where one requires an original copy of the marriage document. Let’s understand it one-by-one.

When you can need an original Marriage document? – Read some common situation

Now, if you have understood the importance of marriage certificate in the lives of couples, value it. If it gets damaged or lost, get a new one so that you can take advantage of various facilities.

Medical Certification of cause of death

A death certificate is an essential legal document based on which inheritance of property, legal claims, and insurance settlement can be made. It is a primary document that relieves the deceased of any social obligations and impending debts. It is issued by the state government and legalizes the death of a person. According to the Registration of Births and Deaths act formulated in 1969, it is mandatory to get a death certificate issued by the respective state government. The death needs to be reported and registered within 21 days of its occurrence. The registrar ( general), chief registrar, and town registrars can issue the certificate and oversee the administration.

The following are the questions that can be arised in your mind when applying for a death certificate:

What is MCCD?

Death is a fact that is unavoidable and needs to be acknowledged by all, and one of the most important aspects is its certification. It is essential for public health planners, medical professionals, administrative, and research workers. It is crucial in terms of health planning and policy formation. Based on mortality rates, deaths per year, public health administrators formulate policies for citizens.

This document is important for analysis and the following issues:

  • Health care policies and programs
  • Practical issues like hospital reimbursement
  • Property claims
  • Life insurance claims
  • Provident fund claims
  • Deleting name of the deceased from the ration card, voter’s list or employer’s register

Medical Certification of Cause of Death, referred to the top as MCCD in India, is laid under the Government Medical Certification Scheme. MCCD and the death certificate is the most frequently issued certificate, of immense medical and legal importance. This scheme includes the training of medical practitioners in India.

Who needs to report and when?

While the religious and customary rituals are being performed by the family of the deceased, the death needs to be reported within 21 days of its occurrence. According to the RBD Act, it stipulates special circumstances, but under ordinary circumstances, the head of the family or anyone from the family can report the death. The oldest male member or the closest relative can also register the death. In case the death has taken place in a hospital, the medical practitioner who attended the deceased in his/her last days, the medical chief, or the medical in-charge needs to report the death and also certify its cause. If the death happened in prison, the jail in-charge needs to report the death.

It is to be noted that no fee or rewards are taken by the registrar for entering the name of the deceased in the death records. However, a late fee will be charged if the death is not registered within 21 days of its occurrence.

Documents needed

a) Age proof- birth certificate

b) Copy of ration card

c) Address proof

d) An affidavit mentioning date and time of death

It is very important to register the death of your family members to avoid any complications later.

Who can issue the birth certificate

The Birth certificate is a permanent and essential document of a child’s existence and acts as an identity proof. It is proof of the child’s date of birth and other necessary facts. If a person belonging to India does not have the birth certificate, he or she is in the danger of being denied their nationality and the rights of an Indian citizen. Registration of the number of births is a vital tool for a nation’s development, it helps the government for the collection of data and keeping the crucial statistics up to date. It would also help the government to arrange for childcare facilities accordingly. The birth certificate is a unique document on which a multi-colored seal is embossed that represents the authenticity and originality. All over India, some details remain the same, but according to the requirements of different state governments, rules and the amount of information needed might vary. Below are some questions that might arise the time of applying for a birth certificate:

Benefits of registration

  • At the time of admissions in schools and colleges.
  • Age proof at the time of employment
  • Establishing parentage
  • Age proof for marriage
  • For insurance purposes
  • Age proof for enrolment in electoral roles
  • Registering in National population register (NPR)

Who can issue the birth certificate

In urban areas of India, the municipal council can issue the certificate while in rural areas, the Tehsildar at the Taluk level can do the same. In villages, the gram Panchayat head can issue the certificate.

When to register

The birth has to be registered within 21 days by filling up a form through online or offline means. The Birth certificate is then later issued after verification with the records of the concerned hospital. If the registration is not done within 21 days, the certificate is issued after police verification.

Who can register birth of child

If the birth has taken place in a house, the head of the house or the oldest person in the family or even the closest relative can register the child. When birth has taken place in a maternity home or any other institution like this, the medical officer in charge can get the child registered.

Necessary details to be mentioned in the birth certificate

  • Full name of the child
  • Time and date of birth
  • Parent’s full name
  • Age, gender and race of the child
  • Registration number
  • Place of birth
  • Address of the parents

How to apply for birth certificate?

There are two means to apply for the Birth certificate of your child, offline and online. When applying online, one can visit crsorgi.gov.in . The necessary details and the documents required can be uploaded on the site. After verification of the documents, one will receive the birth certificate within 7-10 business days. When applying offline, one can visit the registrar’s office and take a birth certificate form and fill it with the documents attached. Fill the form completely and submit it to the registrar. Once the registrar does the verification of the documents, the birth certificate is issued.

Make sure you get yours and your family member’s birth certificate issued to avoid any further inconveniences.

Get Ready to Get Lost: 10 Best Virtual World Games Online

Get Ready to Get Lost: 10 Best Virtual World Games Online

Get Ready to Get Lost: 10 Best Virtual World Games Online

They say you only have one life to live.

Most of the time, that’s the case. Yet thanks to the internet, nothing could be further from the truth in these high-tech days. Now, your imagination is unfettered, and entire virtual worlds exist online for you to discover and explore.

So if you’re looking for something to do during the pandemic, consider losing yourself in another world. We’ve put together a list of the ten best virtual world games online, and there’s something here for everyone.

1. Second Life

Second Life could be the most famous online virtual game. It has to rank as among the best online games for PC even though it is not, in the strictest sense, a “game.”

Billed as the largest-ever 3D virtual world built by users, Second Life is just that: a virtual space wherein one can experience another life. It is an online world of rampant surreality, with environments, structures, creatures, and characters that spring from the endless creativity of its users.

You can do whatever you want in Second Life. Build, destroy, hook up with other characters, practice magical incantations—whatever floats your boat. Meanwhile, you’re interacting with the avatars of actual people from around the world.

Some romances begun in Second Life have even spilled into the “real” world.

2. Gaia Online

This one’s for you anime fans out there.

If you’re into cosplay, you’ll also find plenty here to amuse you. You can register for free, and customize your own avatar. Gaia Online developed as a standard discussion forum.

Since then, however, it has evolved into a complete virtual world. You can even buy a home and invite your (virtual) friends over for drinks and dinner.

3. IMVU

IMVU is a 3-D chatroom. In other words, rather than scanning lines of text, you can strike up conversations with virtual avatars.

You can even trick out your avatar with all kinds of accessories. It’s a livelier take on the basic instant messaging platform and leads to many intriguing possibilities.

IMVU also has a mobile version, so you can take your virtual world on the go.

4. Habbo

This curious offering is one of the best virtual world games online.

It uses some simple, old-school pixelated graphics to create a more classic feel. You can build up your own avatar, in the customary fashion, using the available hairstyles and clothing.

Then it’s off to the races in a giant, customizable hotel. Users can create a limitless array of “guest rooms,” where groups can self-segregate based on mutual interests.

5. MovieStarPlanet

We’re not going to lie to you. MovieStarPlanet is for divas.

But even divas need a virtual space to hang out and soak up the adulation of their admiring public. That makes MovieStarPlanet one of the more niche online RPG games for PC.

This virtual world skews to a younger target audience (kids between 8 and 15), and it is, therefore, family-friendly in its design and gameplay. Still, it’s a fun, entertaining game to while away an idle hour or two.

6. Chit Chat City

This virtual world is for those with an irrepressible artistic talent. And also for budding megalomaniacs.

Like the other virtual worlds on this list, Chit Chat City lets you customize an avatar and go around living a virtual life any old way you want. But there’s a twist. You can select a blank, unmodified avatar and design its features yourself.

This is a great idea if you have some artistic talent. It’s a terrible idea if you don’t.

But wait—there’s more! Chit Chat City allows you to construct an entire city of your own. So get out there and build the most fanciful city you can imagine, and then rule it with an iron fist.

7. Club Cooee

This is another great 3-D chatroom.

Club Cooee is perfect for those who are into music. There are plenty of spaces and “clubs” to create, and you can share your tunes with the in-world music system to play as background music in your club.

So get out there and crash someone’s party, or throw your own. And put your own personal soundtrack on a continuous loop for everyone to enjoy.

8. Red Light Center

Now we’re getting into the good stuff.

Red Light Center is an adult-themed virtual world. It’s raunchy and it likes it that way. True, you can enjoy boring, real-world equivalent activities, such as creating a business, designing clothing and products, or chatting with other avatars.

But that’s not the real reason why you come to the Red Light Center. There are plenty of fun things to do in this virtual world, including dancing, kissing, stripping, having sex, spooning, and even cuddling. Or just walk around naked.

In Red Light Center, you can let your hair down, and become the sex god or goddess that you always wanted to be.

9. RuneScape

Since 2001, RuneScape has been one of the most popular MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) in the world.

This fantasy-based virtual world is one of the best fantasy online games for PC, and it has come in many different versions over the years. One of the most popular is Old School RuneScape (OSRS), which takes players back to the halcyon days of 2007.

This version comes with much additional content and add-ons, including OSRS gold packages for in-game currency.

10. World of Warcraft

Finally, there’s World of Warcraft, another online fantasy virtual world.

World of Warcraft lets you interact with other avatars and cooperate in a vast and detailed virtual world. There are millions of players, so you’ll never want for new people to meet and friendships to form.

When it comes to PC games, it doesn’t get much bigger than this one.

Lose Yourself in the Best Virtual World Games Online

The truth is, if you’re looking for the best virtual world games online, there are plenty to choose from. So find whatever strikes your fancy, and dive in!

While you’re here, check out our great movie reviews and more.

5 reasons why you need Hi-YAH! in your life…

Being a martial arts fan in the age of streaming can make even the most patient fan feel tired of living. Sure, a smattering of kung fu can be found on Netflix (plus we can listen to Jackie Chan dub a monkey), and eventually both versions of Mulan will make it to Disney’s streaming channel, but it feels like more of a starter than it does a banquet worthy for an army of invading Qing’s. But what if there was a channel out there that was dedicated purely to martial arts goodness?

Lucky for us, the team over at Well Go USA have decided to make that a reality. We’ve been watching and promoting Well Go USA titles since they released the very first Ip Man film, so it would make sense that we dive into Hi-YAH!, the company’s very own Asian/martial arts streaming channel. Roughly a month ago, Well Go USA presented the official launch of its downloadable app version of Hi-YAH!, so we thought it would be the perfect time to check it out.

Our verdict? Here it is in 5 reasons:

Reason 1: Fresh content

We’re not going to cancel our Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts anytime soon, but let’s face it, the titles on these two services have a tendency to run stale, especially for the Asian/martial arts cinema fan. With Hi-YAH!, the first thing you notice after logging in is a menu filled with a refreshing list of titles you’re not used to seeing. I mean, it’s Well Go USA, so most of their titles are there (even the ones we think are shit. Hey, every company has ’em, right?). So for all of you who have been struggling with the moral dilemma of wanting to watch Vincent Zhao reprise the role of Wong Fei Hung, but have hesitated to splash out on the Blu-rays, Hi-YAH! is here to help. Best of all? You can then wash it down with an Ip Man saga marathon. All those Well Go USA titles that you may have missed on Blu-ray or DVD are finally available at the tap of your device.

Reason 2: They’re keepin’ it old school

We have a soft spot for old school kung fu films (but we won’t tell you where it is, except to say think Fong Sai Yuk), so the inclusion of Jackie Chan’s pre-stardom classics like Spiritual Kung Fu, Dragon Fist (in any self respecting Jackie Chan fans Top 5!) and Half a Loaf of Kung Fu – all looking the best we’ve ever seen ’em – was definitely a surprise. Heck, even Jackie’s first Hollywood film, Battle Creek Brawl, makes an appearance. Even homegrown titles like Chuck Norris’ A Force of One and the cult 80s favorite Miami Connection fit right in. Our personal old school favorite is Tower of Death (aka Game of Death 2), which is presented with a rare soundtrack from the film’s original Hong Kong release. And is that Johnnie To’s Throwdown we see?

Reason 3: Diversity

Asian cinema is not just a bunch of guys kickin’ ass, right? Of course not. Hi-YAH! features an array of colorful genre sections, such as “Kick-Ass Women” that includes titles like The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police, The Assassin and Memories of the Sword. Then there’s a “Takashi Miike Madness” section featuring Audition, Dead or Alive 1-2, Ichi the Killer, Rainy Dog and the newly released First Love. For those looking for horror: The Wailing, Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum and Bedevilled (just to name a few) are waiting for you. There’s also sections for “Gun-Fu”, “Do it like Donnie” (yes, Donnie Yen’s movies) and “Sammo Hung’s hits” (take a guess). Of course, the entirety of Sammo’s 80’s and 90’s output now comes with a “This film has outdated attitudes, language, and cultural depicitons which may cause offence today.” warning. Just joking, it doesn’t really.

Reason 4: They keep it fresh

In a nutshell, New and Exclusive titles are added to Hi-YAH! ever Friday. May not be big deal for most, but for the die hard Asian/martial arts cinema fan, it’s a blessing. So if the quesiton you ask yourself each week is which of the slim pickings on your current streaming services are you going to watch for the umpteenth time, now you can look forward to asking yourself what new slice of Asian cinematic goodness is on the cards this week. The month of June saw the inclusion of Believer, The Great BattleGod of War and Rampant (it’s not on Netflix anymore!). At the time of writing this article, another fresh release is expected in a couple of days. So for the month of July and so on, we can expect four more new releases. That’s a lot of freshness.

Reason 5: You have nothing to lose!

As much as we would have loved to support Hi-YAH! from the get-go, we didn’t really have to because it’s FREE. That’s right. For the first 30 days, you can watch all the Asian/martial arts releases you can handle and won’t have to pay a cent. Ever wondered how many times you can watch Half a Loaf of Kung Fu in a month? Hi-YAH! is the channel to help you answer that question.  If you choose to stay with the service (who wouldn’t?), it’ll only cost you $3.99 a month. I mean, seriously, that’s how much it used to cost to rent a single movie at Blockbuster Video (and you still had to drive it back and be charged 50¢ for not rewinding the tape).

Now that I revealed by age, I’m going to grab my iPhone, hide under the covers, and finish watching Na Hong-jin’s The Wailing, one of the best horror films of the last 20 years.

Want to give Hi-YAH! a go? Use promo code “CITYONFIRE” for 50% off the first month following the 30 Day FREE Trial.

What Are Some CBD Oil Effects?

What Are Some CBD Oil Effects?

What Are Some CBD Oil Effects?

CBD oil derived from hemp became legal in the United States with the passage of December 2018’s Farm Bill. Since then, CBD products popped up in stores across the country, including grocery stores and gas stations.

Legalization was a big win for people who take advantage of CBD oil effects on their health. The oil is used for a wide range of health conditions, including chronic pain, depression, and seizures. Keep reading to learn more about CBD oil benefits.

CBD Oil Effects on Depression

A common worry about CBD is that it will get you high like marijuana does. CBD doesn’t give the same kind of high as THC, which is one of the reasons CBD oil from hemp is legal on the federal level.

However, CBD does have psychoactive properties. Evidence of this includes its effects on seizures, which you’ll read more about next, and its effects on depression.

The body’s endocannabinoid system affects many aspects of daily life, including mood. CBD binds to your body’s cannabinoid receptors and supplements your body’s natural cannabinoids.

Through this system, CBD improves the way your brain receives neurotransmitters like serotonin, a lack of which is associated with depression.

Seizure Patients Benefit From CBD

While much more research is necessary to learn more about what all CBD can do, one of the things officials are certain it’s good for is treating seizures. If you doubt this claim at all, consider that the FDA approved a CBD prescription drug for seizures, called Epidiolex.

CBD isn’t a replacement for other seizure treatments. Instead, it cuts down on seizures in conjunction with traditional pills.

The CBD medication targets Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome, two severe forms of epilepsy. Other seizure patients should do research to find the best way to take CBD for them.

Nobody should substitute CBD for any of their traditional seizure medications without a serious talk with a specialist. Adding CBD to your drug regimen at all can result in interactions, so check with your doctor to be doubly sure before you make the move.

CBD Oil Cuts Down Chronic Pain

Chronic pain sufferers are constantly on the look for new treatments as easy-to-get medications are rarely effective for severe pain, and opioids are unavailable more and more. In states where marijuana is legal, medical marijuana users reap the benefits of CBD, THC, and other pain-relieving terpenes.

In other states and parts of the world where pain patients lack that option, CBD oil from hemp may be an option.

Some users find they need at least a little THC to get CBD’s maximum effect. At the same time, countless chronic pain patients swear by hemp-derived CBD oil. If you need a new pain treatment, it’s worth a try.

5 Common Gardening Mistakes to Avoid for Beginners

5 Common Gardening Mistakes to Avoid for Beginners

5 Common Gardening Mistakes to Avoid for Beginners

Gardening is in for 2020, so there are plenty of new gardeners out in their yards getting their hands dirty. Are you one of them?

If so, you’re probably excited to get your flowerbeds planted and your sustainable veggie plots flourishing, but do you have all of the information you need to get the green backyard oasis that you want?

There are plenty of gardening mistakes that first-time growers can make that can take them from green thumb to plant killer overnight. We’ve made those mistakes in the past and we want to help you avoid them.

Keep reading to learn more about some common mistakes that you could be making with your new hobby.

1. Not Checking Plant Compatibility

Not all plants are going to grow well in all areas. We don’t all have temperature-controlled greenhouses in which to keep our favorite fruits and flowers.

When you get excited about a new potential plant, don’t act immediately. Do a bit of research first to make sure that this is something that can actually live in your area.

For example: did you get over-excited about the thought of growing a new avocado from a pit? Sustainable, right?

Well, check and see if that’s actually going to be an option for you. These expensive green edibles are only suitable for tropical areas. If you’re used to the ice and snow, they’re not for you.

2. Under or Over Watering

Plants can be finicky. Some of them love to be dried out, while others want to drown. If you’re growing several very different plants, you can’t just assume that one watering day per week is going to cut it for all of them.

Giving your plants the right amount of water is crucial.

Over-watering is just as harmful as under-watering and is a common mistake amongst first-time gardeners.

Read up on your new plants before you start watering. You’ll save yourself a lot of trouble.

3. Keeping Everything Too Close

While you can get away with a bit of clustering for some more common plants and flowers, the more edible plants nearly always need some room to breathe.

Check the spacing instructions on the plant identification tag, or do some searching on your own if you don’t have one.

Plants that are too close together might not have room to grow efficiently. Help your plants out by giving them some space!

4. Too Many (or Not Enough) Trims

Letting a plant grow wild and free can be fine (after all, nothing is pruned in nature) but you might not get the most successful plant possible.

Pruning a plant can stop heavy leaves or branches from dragging it down. It can improve airflow and the angle of light hitting the leaves.

Some plants need regular pruning, minimal pruning, or pruning during flowering.

Don’t overdo it, though. You’re not making a topiary.

5. Going Overboard

If you’re a new gardener, you might have hit up the local greenhouse for as many seeds as you could carry. You’ve tilled your entire backyard and you’re ready for urban farming, right?

Well, maybe not.

Maintenance for gardens is a lot of work. When you actually devote yourself to getting the highest-quality plant, you’ll find that a backyard garden could take hours out of your day.

Until you understand the workload, start small.

Have You Made These Gardening Mistakes?

Gardening is a fun and popular hobby that can get you outside, active, and growing some awesome and sustainable food. Avoiding these gardening mistakes can set you up for success.

Happy growing!

1. Cards Against Humanity

If you’ve never experienced Cards Against Humanity, you’re in for a treat! This has become an instant classic. Just keep in mind that you probably want to avoid playing this with your parents or your kids.

Each player is dealt 10 white cars, and then one black card is drawn. The white cards contain options for filling in the blank, and the black card contains the blank that needs to be filled.

The person with the black card reads the sentence aloud, then chooses the funniest option. The goal is to win the most rounds.

2. Cereal Box Game

Here is a super simple yet totally fun game. Place an empty cereal box in the middle of the room. Each player must try to pick up the box using only their mouth, without using their hands for support.

Once everyone has had a turn, trim an inch from the box. Continue until the box is cut down to nothing.

3. The Voting Game

This game is definitely not recommended for people who lack a personality or a sense of humor. And you’d better be prepared to learn a lot more about your friends than you ever wanted to know.

A card is drawn that features an intriguing question, such as “Whose Google search history would like to see the most?” Then everyone votes. Once you have the results, everyone must reveal who they voted for.

4. What Do You Meme?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, memes are a part of your everyday life. This popular game lets you compete against your friends by creating inappropriate memes.

A meme image is chosen, then each player creates the caption they think best describes the image. This might seem relatively tame, but things can turn raunchy in a hurry.

5. Left/Right Game

This popular game starts by passing out a couple of prizes at random. Then read a story of your choosing that contains the words LEFT and RIGHT throughout. Whoever’s holding the prizes at the end of the story gets to keep them.

6. Cootie

Cootie is a fun dice game that requires four adults at each table. Parters need to sit across from each other, and one person on each team rolls the dice using dice cups for each turn. The goal is to start with the number 1 and keep rolling the dice until you get each consecutive number.

Be sure to buy dice cups for this one.

7. Beer Pong

It’s hard to be a raging game of beer pong. The rules are simple: all you have to do is through a ping pong ball into your opponent’s cup of beer, which they then have to drink. Games don’t get much more straightforward, or fun.

Word on the street is that Arrow Video is releasing a Blu-ray for Lau Kar-Leung’s 1978 kung fu film staple The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (aka Master Killer) starring martial arts icon Gordon Liu (Martial Club, Kill Bill Vol. 1).

Many fans consider The 36th Chamber of Shaolin a turning point for director Lau Kar-Leung as well as the star, Gordon Liu. Martial arts movies at the time showed waning interest, but upon the film’s release, both of these talented men found a boost to their respective careers – thanks to writer Kuang Ni (The Seventh Curse) who did an excellent job with a seemingly simple tale of revenge, train and kick ass. Don’t let the cliche “Monks are peaceful” fool you. It has the alternative title of “Master Killer” for a reason.

We’ll keep you filled in as we learn more. Who know – maybe this is just the start of Continue reading
