Martial arts star Iko Uwais (The Raid, The Raid 2, Headshot) is re-teaming with director Liam O’Donnell (Beyond Skyline) for Skyline: Warpath, the long-awaited sci-fi actioner that also stars fellow martial arts star, Scott Adkins (John Wick 4, Ip Man 4).
Set within the Skyline universe and five years after the events of Beyond Skyline, the movie follows Sua (Uwais) as he leads The Resistance against the aliens. When he discovers the powerful alien Radial Gauntlet, he must deal with both the corrupt Eric (Adkins) and the army of alien invaders (via Deadline).
Skyline: Warpath also stars Yayan Ruhian (The Raid), Louis Mandylor (Debt Collectors), Charlotte Vega (American Assassin), Randall J. Bacon (3 Days in Malay), Zack Lee (The Night Comes for Us), Brahim Chab (Vanguard), Phet Mahathongdy (Beyond Skyline) and Alex Abbad (Merantau).
Skyline: Warpath will be distributed in the U.S. by XYZ Films
🔥 Footnote: Despite wrapping production sometime around 2024, Skyline: Warpath continues to sit on the shelf with no confirmed release date. The film was announced as part of the Fantastic Fest 2025 lineup last August, only to be pulled from the schedule a couple of weeks before the festival. A rumored August 2026 Prime Video release also failed to materialize. With no trailer and little word from the filmmakers or distributor, the delay appears to be tied to post production issues. That’s the film business for you.

Respect where its due – these Skyline movies aren’t very good but at the very least they try something different each time. Its hard to believe that the first movie was an alien invasion movie set in an apartment and the latest is a Iko/Adkins movie.
