Born to Fly | Blu-ray (Well Go USA)
On March 26, 2024, Well Go USA is releasing the Blu-ray for Born to Fly. This Top Gun-style Chinese production is directed by Liu Xiaoshi and stars Wang Yibo (Hidden Blade).
After an unforeseen threat arises mid-air, a talented young air force test pilot (Wang Yibo) is forced to test not only the capabilities of his top-secret aircraft, but also his own physical and psychological limits, in order to survive.
Born to Fly also stars Hu Jun (Firestorm), Yu Shi (Die Now), Zhou Dongyu (The Thousand Faces of Dunjia), Zhuangzhuang Tian (Gone with the Light) and Binlong Pan (The Monkey King 3).

This movie hasn’t released in China yet. If it release here, it is lucky if it makes a couple of thousand dollars.
You obviously didn’t pay attention to the Hidden Blade release here in states, Wang Yibo draws in international viewers that movie made more than a few thousand
I was been sarcastic but still the movie was making peanut at the US box office. Got pulled from my local theater in about 2 weeks.
Two words my man, Wang. Yibo.
Maybe it was for another Chinese Air Force movie, but I read an article about how Top Gun: Maverick caused this movie’s release to be canceled when the producers realized they couldn’t compete with Hollywood’s movie. Even though it made a lot of money in China, the producers are still kind of pissed.
Another movie, dude…
This one will be out in Chinese cinemas April 28.
