Coming soon from Arrow Video is the 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray for Pedicab Driver, a 1989 Hong Kong Golden Harvest classic directed by and starring Sammo Hung (Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In, Eastern Condors).
In the film, two Macao pedicab drivers fall for a baker and a prostitute, both of whom work under abusive bosses. As romance blossoms, the two men must find a way to win their hearts while helping them escape their oppressive circumstances.
The film sports an all-star supporting cast that includes Lau Kar-leung (Drunken master II), Max Mok (Once Upon A Time in China III), Nina Li Chi (The Gambling Ghost), Billy Chow (The Blonde Fury), Lam Ching-ying (Mr. Vampire), Corey Yuen (Dance of the Drunken Mantis), Dick Wei (Final Run), Mang Hoi (Legacy of Rage), Billy Lau (Police Story Part II), John Shum (Guns of Dragon) and Eric Tsang (Crazy Couple).
Of course, expect nothing less than peak stuntwork and choreography from Sammo Hung and his legendary Hong Kong stunt team.

🔥 Footnote: Warner Bros. has never made licensing titles from its Golden Harvest library particularly easy (they still own over a hundred titles), but that seems to be changing. This news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, especially in the wake of Arrow’s recent Jackie Chan’s Breakout Hits 10-disc collection, which managed to secure several notoriously difficult-to-license Jackie Chan films from the ’90s. That being said, Hong Kong physical media collectors have a lot to look forward to!
