From a young boy in Germany inspired by martial arts films, to a member of the legendary Jackie Chan Stunt Team, to his breakout role as Kung Lao in Warner Bros. Mortal Kombat. This is the story the world never saw.
Max Huang stars as himself, alongside Harry Halim as Noorman Widjaja, Verrel Gautama as Young Max Huang, and Julian Latif as James, with Anna-Barbara Lackner-Widjaja, Noorman Widjaja, Lee Huang, and Stunt Team: Macho Virgonta Hungan, Mardiyono Sulaiman & Ricky Saladian.
🔥 Footnote: A documentary about Max Huang, written by and starring Max Huang?! To some, it may come across as a self focused project that feels a bit self indulgent. To others, it reads as a story about resilience, persistence, and someone determined to reach his goals. Whatever the interpretation, one thing is clear: this guy definitely puts in the work.
