King of Killers | Blu-ray (Lionsgate)

On October 31, 2023, Lionsgate Entertainment is releasing the Blu-ray & DVD for King of Killers, an upcoming actioner that marks the directorial debut of Kevin Grevioux, an actor who is mostly known for playing Raze in the Underworld franchise.
King of Killers stars Alain Moussi (Kill Order, Street Fighter: Resurrection), the rising martial arts star from Kickboxer: Vengeance and Kickboxer: Retaliation, as well as Frank Grillo (Boss Level, Beyond Skyline, Jiu Jitsu).
Based on a graphic novel by Grevioux himself, King of Killers follows former Agency hitman Marcus Garan (Moussi) as he attempts to unravel the mystery behind a tragic incident. When offered a $10 million contract to eliminate the world’s greatest assassin, Marcus travels to Tokyo to meet the client (Grillo), but discovers other professional killers have been invited as well. Now Marcus and the others must confront this deadly, mythical assassin…or die trying.
King of Killers also stars Stephen Dorff (Blade), Marie Avgeropoulos (Tracers), Amy Groening (Goon), Kevin Grevioux (Underworld), Shannon Kook (The Conjuring) and Georges St-Pierre (Cartels).

I hope this turns out well. I’ve liked Kevin Grevioux‘s written works, and I hope he’s learned from the directors he’s known.
It’s funny that Stephen Dorff would do this movie after he’s spent so much time shit-talking comic book films just because he’s bitter. It’s disappointing to see him be so disrespectful.
Probably a sign I’ve gone too deep into the world of Korean low budget cinema when I see Kevin Grevioux’s name and the first thing I think is “hey, that’s the guy from ‘Clementine’!” 🙂
