You can now order Vinegar Syndrome’s Blu-ray release for Sworn to Justice, a 1996 actioner directed by Paul Maslak (producer of Bloodfist IV, Red Sun Rising) and starring martial arts screen icon, Cynthia Rothrock (Righting Wrongs). The Blu-ray is expected later this year.
After almost being beaten to death by burglars, who killed her sister and nephew, a female psychologist/defence witness serves justice by day but turns avenger by night after she develops psychic powers.
The film has an interesting cast that includes Kurt McKinney (No Retreat, No Surrender), Max Thayer (No Retreat, No Surrender II: Raging Thunder), Mako (Conan the Barbarian, The Big Brawl), Tony Lo Bianco (The French Connection), Walter Koenig (Star Trek), and Brad Dourif (One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest).

Very interesting. I consider Sworn to Justice Rothrock’s best English language film. The HK aesthetics translated best here and everyone made the most of what seemed like limited resources. I hope there’s some great extras.
Plus…SWORN TO JUSTICE features I believe the first Rothrock love scene! 2 of them if I recall.
