Veteran Hong Kong action star Fan Siu-Wong (Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky, VR Fighter) is back on the sci-fi trail in Unstoppable, an upcoming actioner from first-time director Feng Yang.
The year is 2080 and the Earth has been hit by a mysterious meteor shower, causing innocent humans to be mutated into deadly aliens. Now, it’s up to mankind to stop these deranged creatures and save the planet from total annihilation!
The film also stars Zina Blahusova (The Wandering Earth II), Li-Chun Lee (Robbers), Yun-Yun Lee (The Marvelous Fable), Ji Hao (The Journey to the West: Demon’s Child) and Chen Xiya.
Unstoppable will make its “web movie” premier on February 22, 2025. No U.S. date yet, but Well Go USA’s streaming channel Hi-YAH! has made a successful business model out of licensing many of these Chinese web movies, so we’re crossing our fingers!
For now, don’t miss the film’s Trailer:
Surprised you didn’t say Dune-sploitation, too.
Never saw Dune. It would have broke my #1 rule: Never ‘sploit something you’re not familiar with.
