‘Triple Threat’ star Tiger Hu Chen to make directorial debut in ‘Quick Bodyguard’ with Scott Adkins and Miya Muqi

Yuen Woo-ping protege, Tiger Hu Chen (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum), who made his leading-man debut in Keanu Reeves’ directorial debut, Man of Tai Chi, will make his own directorial debut in Quick Bodyguard.

The upcoming actioner will see Chen reunite with his Triple Threat co-star, Scott Adkins (Max Cloud, Savage Dog). Also starring alongside Adkins and Chen is Miya Muqi, who is perhaps best known for her appearance in two recent Jackie Chan/Stanley Tong collaborations, Kung Fu Yoga and Vanguard.

Details on Quick Bodyguard are scarce, but a very-preliminary poster (via AFS), which has the film’s release date set for this year, as been released. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more. For now, we leave you with the Trailer for Man of Tai Chi:
