Don’t miss the film’s classic Trailers:
I was just watching the Dragon Dynasty DVD the other day. The action scenes still hold up, but it’s funny how Jet Li had better chemistry with Kent Chang than Kristy Chung. It’s especially funny how after a bullet is fired, there’s enough time for one person to jump in front of it before the other person jumps in front of it instead.
Bro, stop watching Hongkong Movies if you‘re worried about something like that
What are you talking about? I was complimenting the movie while pointing out how funny some of the dynamics were.
Also during gun fights Jet has time to do a superhero landing and do a cool pose for at least a second before he needs to dodge more bullets.
What Jet Li does in Bodyguard from Beijing counts as Gun-Kata. I loved how he was so precision point-based while doing highly choreographed moves.
Please Frank Djeng can you make new subtitles for this movie. My Cantonese is pretty bad but still good enough to call BS on the subs on the Dragon Dynasty Bluray. Also please let this be the HK Theatrical version in which case there may be hope yet for proper versions of Fist of legend and Fong Sai Yuk 1/2 without the new sheety intro titles Raaaappppeey Weinstein did for them back in the 90s. Fist of legend in particular suffers from lets make the intro sequence more “oriental”
One of the worst Jet Li 90’s movies and…it gets 4KUHD and Co…
Without me (I’ve given the DVD to charity).
