Martial arts star Wu Jing (Wolf Warrior 2, Call of Heroes, SPL 2) will return in the high-profile sequel The Battle at Lake Changjin 2 (aka Watergate Bridge). Also returning are Jackson Yee (Pound of Flesh), Zhang Hanyu (Operation Mekong), Huang Xuan (Extraordinary Mission), Zhu Yawen (The Captain), Duan Yihong (Extraordinary Mission) and Hu Jun (Shadow).

The upcoming sequel will take place a year after the events of the first film, which centered on the decisive battles during the 1950-53 Korean War.
