That sucks. Not sure why they’d want to limit it. I remember watching this on Kung Fu Theater back in the 1980s. Even recorded it on VHS. Pretty cool. At the time, I had no idea why things were constantly flying at the screen. Real bloody movie, too.
Bob Furmaneck kindly replied to a question on twitter and confirmed that the Region A (US and Canada) is due to a licensing restriction, otherwise they would have opened it up to worldwide.
