Martial arts star Scott Adkins (John Wick 4, Ip Man 4, Triple Threat) is re-teaming with action director Jesse V. Johnson (Boudica: Queen of War) for FishCorb Films’ Irish Dog, an upcoming thriller that’s due for release next year.
In the film, a London nightclub bouncer reluctantly agrees to chaperone an old friend, now a suave but untrustworthy gangster, on a “legitimate” trip to Spain. Soon, he finds himself navigating a dangerous reunion of criminal power players, testing his resolve to leave his violent past behind.
Irish Dog will mark the 7th collaboration between Adkins and Johnson. Their titles together include 2020’s Debt Collectors, 2019’s Avengement, 2019’s Triple Threat, 2018’s The Debt Collector, 2018’s Accident Man and 2017’s Savage Dog.
