This is sad. I enjoyed a good amount of his work. It’s hard to believe that a guy named Clarence would end up with a good eye for creativity.

Of course Naked Killer was great exploitation, but I also liked his take on Crying Freeman, Dragon From Russia. Her Name is Cat was a flawed jewel, but one that I revisit every now and then. He also had an overblown cameo in Body Weapon which is an awful movie, but had a couple of decent fight scenes.

A legendary director with beautiful trademarks of sexuality, loud neon colors and scenes of unexpected chaos. Naked Killer, Iceman Cometh, Remains of a Woman, Cheap Killer and Before Dawn (1984) were all masterpieces.

Naked Killer needs a blu ray release. RIP
