Today’s Deal on Fire is the Blu-ray for Furie (read our review), a revenge thriller from directer Le Van Kiet (The Rich Woman), starring Veronica Ngo Thanh Van (House in the Alley).
Furie stars Ngo as a gangster who is lying low in the countryside after becoming a mother, but can’t escape her violent past when her daughter is kidnapped in front of her eyes (via SD).
To Western audiences, the multi-talented star is mostly known for her work in the acclaimed Vietnamese martial arts features The Rebel and Clash with Johnny Tri Nguyen, not to mention a minor role in Yuen Woo-ping’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny with Michelle Yeoh and Donnie Yen. And her recent appearances in Bright and Star Wars: The Last Jedi has gotten her more exposure in mainstream Hollywood.

Is she still in a relationship with Johnny Nguyen? They were a great pair!
That blue neon lighting the poster is bathed in….’Atomic Blonde’ has a lot to answer for! But hey, it’s Veronica Ngo, so it can be forgiven.
Looks pretty good!
Does anyone know if this movie gets a release on dvd and blu ray ?
Or if it is confirmed that it will get on but the release date is not clear ?
Furie hits domestically on February 22nd, 2019, followed by Well Go USA’s U.S. Theatrical release on March 1st.
Does this mean the movie ,,Furie“ gets a Blu Ray and DVD release on March 1st
When yes ? Where can i pre order it ?
March 1st is its limited theatrical release (here in the U.S.). Usually Blu-ray/DVD’s follow a couple of months after.
Thanks for the help
Watched this recently in it’s limited run and it was just ok. The higher quality fights at the end were cool but it’s mostly a chore to get through. I did a full review here if anyone is curious:

I caught Furie in Virginia, and I liked it a lot.
It wasn’t as good as The Rebel or Clash, but it was sastifying to see Veronica carry a movie without Johnny Nguyen.
The movie isn’t very original and has a few plot holes. (The police have been investigating the organ smugglers for years, but when Veronica goes to a guy who they have a file on, he leads her to them.) but I thought it was well done.
The action scenes felt like a reward for investing in the drama, and I bought Veronica as a self loathing mom who wants her daughter to be better than her. When the action does come, it’s different from her previous outings since it employs a lot of close quarters techniques and using random objects as melee weapons.
Just like Dustin Nguyen in Rebel and everyone else in Clash, one of Veronica’s opponents, a muscular tattooed Hoa Tran uses the Vietnamese equivilent to Iron Body Kung fu, and it makes for a nice showdown.
Unfortunately, HK’s gwailo scumbag made himself a producer on the film. It’s shitty to see his name in the end credits.
