Ninjas done the Miike way! Watch the Trailer for Takashi Miike’s live-action adaptation of ‘Masked Ninja Akakage’

Acclaimed cult director Takashi Miike (Yakuza Apocalypse, The Happiness of the Katakuris) is back as chief director for Masked Ninja Akakage (aka Kamen no Ninja Akakage), a live-action series adaptation of Mitsuteru Yokoyama’s classic manga about a masked ninja who protects feudal Japan from the forces of evil.

Written for the screen by Yūsuke Watanabe (Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods), Masked Ninja Akakage stars Taiki Satō (High & Low: The Story of S.W.O.R.D.), Keito Kimura (Kamen Rider Gavv), Ryō Katō (Nemesis: The Mystery of the Golden Spiral), Shūgo Oshinari (Battle Royale II: Requiem) and Tokio Emoto (Prison School).
