RELEASE DATE: August 25, 2020

Cult martial arts star Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Chapter 3: Parabellum, Drive) is re-teaming with The Driver director Wych Kaosayananda (Tekken: Kazuya’s Revenge) and Zero Tolerance co-stars Kane Kosugi (9 Deaths of the Ninja) and Prinya Intachai (Choice, Mindfulness and Murder) for the Collateral-esque One Night in Bangkok (read our review), which arrives on DVD, Digital, and On Demand August 25 from Lionsgate.

A hit man named Kai (Dacascos) flies into Bangkok, gets a gun, and orders a cab. He offers a professional female driver big money to be his all-night driver. But when she realizes Kai is committing brutal murders at each stop, it’s too late to walk away. Meanwhile, an offbeat police detective (Prinya Intachai) races to decode the string of slayings before more blood is spilled.

J’ai hâte de voir ce film avec MD

  2. Andrew Hernandez says:

Looks pretty cool. Hope The Driver was just a test and we get something of real substance here.

  3. Shadow says:

Looks like by the numbers cheap remake of Tom Cruise’s Collateral thriller, which is not a bad thing, cause that movie was damn good one. As for this, i dont know, trailer looks ok and thats it. The director didnt had anything good before this. This have potential i guess, but i fear that Marc and Kane Kosugi will be underused here, i wish to be wrong, but trailer didnt show me anything in terms of action to be exited at all, but the cinematography looks beautiful at least.

  4. Lee Golden says:

Prinya Intachai plays the detective, not Kane Kosugi. Lionsgate got their PR details wrong so it’s nobody’s fault, really.

  5. I’m curious about it, as Mark Dacascos has been enjoying a bit of a resurgence lately. My concern here is the director. Wych Kaosayananda has proven less than impressive with movies like Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever and Tekken: Kazuya’s Revenge. I could very well be wrong and One Night in Bangkok could be an awesome movie, but Wych’s track record is leaving me pretty doubtful.

  6. Mike Retter says:

I agree with another poster or two in here, this looks exactly like Michael Mann’s Collateral.
