Curtis (Rise of the Footsoldier: Vengeance). Daniel Fathers (Transporter TV series), Sarina Taylor (The Necromancer) and Susan Twist (Doctor Who).

Is Vinnie Jones ok? I hope he’s in a non-action role for this film, since in I Am Vengeance 2, he looked like he was in pain every time he moved and wasn’t being doubled. I know he’s almost 60, but I hate seeing him go from cool movies to the string of “hits” that get 2-5 out of 10 on IMDb.

I like how it appears to be coming together. There’s certainly more of those pulpy Guy Ritchie/Matthew Vaughn vibes I enjoy so much, and with Stu Small involved, there should be some good stuff here.

I really like the look of this. Scott Adkin is keeping the action genre going.

I hope the US release date isn’t too far off. I’ve read that it’s only available as a Sky Premier streaming release in the UK.

A US distributor finally picked this up after the stupid UK exclusive streaming deal lasted so long, and Reckless ended up being a fun romp.

Scott Adkins’ character is a total idiot who doesn’t think far ahead, but he’s also endearing in his own way, and it was good to care about what happens to him through the journey. What really holds the film together is Scott Adkins chemistry with Nicole Deon as they enter a reluctant partnership and start to grow on each other.

Vinnie Jones does pretty well acting wise, but his character yet isn’t much of a threat as his wife seems to do the heavy lifting as far as controlling crime goes. His best scene is when he confronts the cop investigating him which appears to give the impression Jones will do more, but sadly, that doesn’t come too far to pass.

There’s 4 fight scenes in the film, and theyre just as satisfying here as in Avengement. Scott Adkins vs Mark Strange ends up being better than their fight in Avengement, and Reckless is generous enough to give us two rounds of it.

Mark Strange for that matter is clearly having too much fun in his role as a sadistic pervert, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were multiple takes of him for making people laugh on set with the horribly ridiculous quips he makes.
