Eureka Entertainment’s Blu-ray (Region B) for She Shoots Straight (aka Lethal Lady) – a 1989 Hong Kong action film directed by Corey Yuen (Raging Thunder, Righting Wrongs) that stars Joyce Godenzi (License to Steal) and Carina Lau (Rich and Famous) – is now available from Goodie Emporium.

I like this movie even though it’s really melodramatic. Arguably more so than other HK films at the time.
Joyce Godenzi did a great job with the action for not having that much training, although she and co-star Agnes Aurelio would fare much better in License To Steal.
Finally got my hand on this. Picture quality is great but I need to ask….is Bey Logan still cancelled? The Mike Leeder commentary with his best mate might be the worst yet. Theres zero insight to the movie unless you enjoy lsitening to leeder’s adeventures with night club hostesses
After everything that’s been reported about Bitch, why would he come back to commentaries? That’s like Brett Ratner coming back to direct another big film.
I don’t get it with Leeder’s commentaries. I’ve liked a lot of them, and he’s fun to listen to. Some are just better than others.
Logan is a sleazy scumbag for sure who abused his power for evil against actresses and cheated on his wife. At the same time hios commentaries are better than Frank Djengs and Mike Leeder’s combined. One is very dry with lots of info, too much info that its like reading wikipedia. The other is basically bragging about how he works and lives in HK
It could be argued that Logan’s commentaries are a standard for how other’s commentaries should be, much in the same way that Spacey’s acting was a standard other actors should live by. (Provided that they don’t become abusers too.)
And also one was at the top of his game at dvd commentaries for HK cinema and the other is a hack whio made sheety Rush Hour movies and fked up Xmen 3 big time
