“Steel Rain 2: Summit” Theatrical Poste
This Summer, writer/director Yang Woo-Seok (The Attorney) is releasing Steel Rain 2: Summit, a sequel to this 2017 thriller, Steel Rain (read our review), which was adapted from his own webtoon (Korean online comics) co-written by Je Pi Ga Roo.
For Steel Rain 2: Summit, both Jung Woo-sung (The Divine Move) and Kwak Do-won (The Wailing) are reprising their respective roles.
The first film revolved around a former North Korean agent, played by Jung Woo-sung, who is recruited to go under the radar by the regime to assassinate a rogue general. By chance, he runs into the South’s Foreign Affairs Chief, played by Kwak Do-won, and together they reluctantly team up to prevent the breakout of a nuclear war between the opposing sides.

Looks like Jung Woo-sung is remaking his 1999 flick ‘Phantom: The Submarine’ with this one.
