So I guess the next installment after this will be “IP man in dippers” baby of cuddle fu. SMH!! Enough is enough already, let this man rest.
Oh, Crisis Time! I thought they’d keep that title. People have said this is the worst one yet, and considering how mediocre Four Kings and Kung Fu Master were, that’s not something the film makers should strive for.
Someone thought of making a Die Hard clone, Ip Man was thrown in there as an afterthought, and now we have this. It’s very dissatisfying.
Up until this point, the previous movies told stories I had heard of from my Wing Chun instructor. I’ve never heard of this story? Stick to the true stories of the man. I could be mistaken but I don’t believe this happened?
None of them happened. At least not every detail. The Ip Man films are to him as the Once Upon a Time in China films are to Wong Fei-Hung. He’s being treated like a folk hero.
