Nathan Geering, a multi-award-winning British indie filmmaker, stuntman and fight choreographer, is bringing his first feature length movie, The Lock In, to audiences following its official selection for the Urban Action Showcase in New York.
The upcoming actioner combines old school kung fu shapes with modern day action, blending Eastern and Western action film making techniques.
The Lock In follows a man who finds himself trapped inside a pub when a mysterious bartender and a gang determined to kill him turn the place into a deadly battleground. Things take an even darker turn when his date arrives, only to discover that the pub has locked its doors for a deadly event known as “The Lock In”. What was supposed to be a romantic evening quickly becomes a fight for survival.
The film also stars the legendary Keith Vitali (Wheels on Meals, No Retreat No Surrender 3), Drew Sinclair (Echoes of the Past), Scott Matthews (Black Creek) and Paul Preston (Jackie the Stripper).
🔥 Footnote: Nathan Geering trained in advanced action filmmaking directly with the Jackie Chan Stunt Team in Beijing. He’s also the creator of “Break Fu,” a unique fusion of breakdancing and martial arts, which also serves as the name of his production company, Break-Fu Productions Ltd.
