RELEASE DATE: June 18, 2020
On June 18, 2020, Mill Creek Entertainment will shoot off their DVD for Sweating Bullets, a 2-disc/10 movie set featuring a stack of low budget, straight-to-video thrillers – most of them from the 1990s – by cult directors Damian Lee (Moving Target) and Fred Olen Ray (Armed Response).
The highlight of the collection (at least for us) is the 1995 actioner Fatal Combat (aka No Exit) starring martial arts star Jeff Wincott (Martial Law II: Undercover, Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms).
The set also includes Maximum Revenge (Paul Michael Robinson), Rapid Assault (Tim Abell), Inner Action (Douglas O’Keeffe), Fugitive Rage (Shauna O’Brien), Me and the Mob (Sandra Bullock), Shades (Mickey Rourke), Yesterday’s Target (Daniel Baldwin), The Night Never Sleeps and Across the Line.

Hmmm…
90’s action ✓
Jeff Wincott ✓
Low budget ✓
No sign of Scott Adkins ✓
869 minutes of footage on only 2 discs. I wonder how the picture quality will fare.
I’m also demurred at the sight of a DVD-only, non-HD release in the current age; but considering the nature of the content, I’m probably missing the point.
(I do however notice that DIGITAL banner across the top, so that’s a pretty nice value add on top of an already value collection.)
Um Fatal Combat is awful. Like even by the standards of STV action, it’s worse than Lorenzo Lamas flicks.
Sounds like a good compilation. But I always hope PM Entertainment library to be reissued, those films were the best
Films will be downloaded from Youtube but to hell with it, sounds like a blast!
hahaha! I don’t think we want to see these movies at anything above a 480i or 480p.
