Anthony Pun (Extraordinary Mission) is prepping his new movie with Hong Kong film legend Chow Yun-fat (Project Gutenberg), titled Salavation (formerly Be Water, My Friend), which is based off a screenplay by Pun’s frequent collaborator, Felix Chong (The Lost Bladesman). The film is also known as its Chinese title, Don’t Call Me God of Gamblers.

Chow will star as a troubled, pathological gambler who seeks a way to connect with his autistic son (via THR). The film’s original title (“Be Water, My Friend”) is in reference to Bruce Lee’s famous philosophical quote (written by Stirling Silliphant) that originated in the 70s TV series, Longstreet.

Salavation co-stars Anita Yuen (Integrity), Liu Kai Chi (The Beast Stalker), Michael Ning (Port of Call) and Alex Fong (Legendary Assassin).
