“Boss Level” Korean Theatrical Poster
On March 5, 2021, Joe Carnahan’s (Narc) Boss Level (read our review) will make its premier on Hulu.
The upcoming sci-fi actioner stars Mel Gibson (Edge of Darkness), Frank Grillo (Beyond Skyline), Naomi Watts (The Ring), Will Sasso (The Three Stooges), Annabelle Wallis (The Mummy), Ken Jeong (The Hangover), Michelle Yeoh (Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy) and Selina Lo (Shanghai).
Trapped in a time loop that constantly repeats the day of his murder, former special forces agent Roy Pulver (Grillo) uncovers clues about a secret government project that could unlock the mystery behind his untimely death. In a race against the clock, Pulver must hunt down Colonel Ventor (Gibson), the powerful head of the government program, while outrunning skilled ruthless assassins determined to keep him from the truth in order to break out of the loop, save his ex-wife (Watts) and live once again for tomorrow.

OK, put her on the poster, but she has to take the smallest place possible. You know, not as big as the white main casting.

Michelle Yeoh is a legend for sure, but she is only a cameo here, so relax lol
Alright, We’ve got a legend. Let’s give her a cameo to appeal to the Chinese Market instead of giver her a main role lol. The only reason I’m salty is “Tomorrow Never Dies”.
I think her schedule is too busy from meetings/discussions involving Crazy Rich Asians Parts 1-4.
I always get confused by the implications that Michelle and other Asian stars are somehow being forced into appearing in roles like this, its not a lead role, she knew it, the producers knew it, and she happily took the check…. wouldn’t it be more misleading if they put her on the poster in a huge image that implied she had a much bigger role than she does?
Yep, once you cash the check, there is no more discussion. That’s why I keep telling John Boyega, but he keeps crying about his character wasn’t Han Solo.
If the producers had offered her a bigger role, she probabley would have taken it. But Naomi Watts is a huge star at the box-office right now and you can’t think of anybody else when you’re thinking about a female action star!😂
