On November 11, 2025, Well Go USA is releasing the Blu-ray and DVD for Prisoner of War, the latest actioner from martial arts sensation Scott Adkins (John Wick 4, Ip Man 4, Triple Threat). It’s also currently available on Digital.
Directed by and co-starring Louis Mandylor (The Debt Collector, The Doorman), Prisoner of War takes place during WWII and centers on a British officer (Adkins) who is captured and forced to fight in a Japanese internment camp.
Inspired by real World War II events, British RAF Wing Commander James Wright is shot down during the Battle of Bataan and captured by the Japanese. Thrown into a prisoner-of-war camp, he is forced into the ring to fight for survival in brutal hand-to-hand combat against skilled opponents. However, the soldiers get more than they bargained for when Wright’s years of training in Hong Kong prove him to be a formidable adversary.
The film also stars Peter Shinkoda (Mortal Kombat: Legacy), Gabbi Garcia (Unbreak My Heart), Michael Copon (The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior), Donald Cerrone (Lights Out), Gary Cairns (Day Labor), Shane Kosugi (9 Deaths of the Ninja), Atsuki Kashio (Black Swindler), Kansuke Yokoi (The Locked Room), Sol Eugenio (1521: The Quest for Love and Freedom), Masanori Mimoto (Hydra, Baby Assassins) and action choreographed by Alvin Hsing (Death Grip), a former member of The Stunt People.

Pingback: Scott Adkins Stars In Louis Mandylor's Death March - M.A.A.C.
When is the release date?
no wlasnie kiedy
Looks like this should have been called ‘Savage Dog 2: Death March’!
Does Scott Adkins ever sleep?
How many movies a year does he make at this point?
I must say, I am Intrigued by it
I like it! I was hoping for a sequel to the Scott Adkins Starter Pack, and so far it includes One Shot, One More Shot, Accident Man 2, Diablo, and hopefully this film as well.
(I’d like to include Killer’s Game even though he’s not the star, and John Wick 4 would be a shoo-in if his action talents weren’t wasted. But he gave an Oscar worthy performance while wearing a Weird Al fat suit!)
It looks like Masanori Mimoto isn’t the main choreographer. It would be amazing to see if Scott and company could keep up with the insane pace of his work! But the action certainly looks solid enough with plenty of variety.
I am excited for this, but I just want to point out if anyone can do research on the new Martial Art Malaysian movie Gayong, which is a similar martial arts period movie and see what they will do for a North American Release
kind a like Missing in Action but with more fighting
Another absolute masterpiece with Scott. I can wait!
