On November 7, 2023, Cleopatra Entertainment will be releasing the Blu-ray & DVD for Lion-Girl (read our review), the latest from Japanese cult director Kurando Mitsutake (Maniac Driver, Gun Woman, Karate Kill).
This sci-fi actioner stars Tori Griffith (Wake Up), Damian Toofeek Raven (Dexter), Derek Mears (Friday the 13th), Joey Iwanaga (Enter the Fat Dragon), David Sakurai (Fantastic Beasts), Shelby Lee Parks (Good Trouble), Matt Standley (Fairyland).
In the year 20XX, mysterious meteors bombard the Earth and usher in an age of horrific beasts known as ‘ANOROC’, hunting and killing humans for their life force. The Earth has one last defender against them; her name is ‘LION-GIRL’.
