Actor/director Michael Worth is developing House of Fangs, a modern action film that will possibly feature classic Kung Fu film stars such as Angela Mao Ying (Lady Whirlwind), Dragon Lee (Dragon Lee vs. the 5 Brothers), Don Wang Tao (Slaughter in San Francisco), Bruce Li (Iron Dragon Strikes Back) and Bruce Le (Challenge of the Tiger) and others.

Handling the fight choreography for House of Fangs is renowned Hong Kong heavy Andy Cheng, who’s best known as being a prominent member of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team.

Here’s the official details:

Grizzly Peak Films, the producers of the current film festival darling Enter The Clones of Bruce and VCI Entertainment are teaming up on the development of an original new entry into the action genre with filmmaker Michael Worth (U.S. Seals II, Apple Seed).

House of Fangs (the current working title) is being described as Dragon Gate Inn meets John Wick when the returning stars of 1970 action cinema collide with modern action stars of the west.

As a squad of assassins stumble into a rural Chinese restaurant for cover, they soon discover the owners of the establishment serve up much more than good food. The production is turning to crowd funding to help bring these evasive stars out of pseudo-retirement into a call of action one more time.

Dropping the announcement on the 50th anniversary of the release of Enter the Dragon, the producers are offering up pledges from crew shirts to the opportunity of fighting one of the characters on screen.

Discussions have already opened up with notable stars such as Angela Mao Ying (Lady Whirlwind), Dragon Lee (Dragon Lee vs. the 5 Brothers), Don Wang Tao (Slaughter in San Francisco), Bruce Li (Iron Dragon Strikes Back) and Bruce Le (Challenge of the Tiger) and others.

The script is in a current rewrite by Worth and if the campaign exceeds its minimum, depending on schedules of the talent, the shoot could begin shooting as early as the end of this year.
