Here’s what’s streaming on Hi-YAH! for the month of November

Hi-YAH!, Well Go USA’s very own Asian/martial arts streaming channel has just announced their New Release line up for the month of November, which includes a New film added to Hi-YAH! every Friday! Some of the highlights include the all-star HK actioner Dragon Quad (cast includes Sammo Hung and the Terminator-killer himself, Michael Biehn) and a little bit of Bruceploiation on the side!

Dragon Squad | 11/6/20

A team of Interpol agents goes to Hong Kong to testify in the trial of a crime lord. However, the accused escapes when the convoy taking him to court is ambushed. The agents cooperate with local police, led by a burned-out cop, to track down the fugitive. The Daniel Lee-directed film features an all-star cast that includes Vanness Wu (Ip Man 4), Shawn Yue (Infernal Affairs), Xia Yu (Birth of the Dragon), Eva Huang (Iceman), Lawrence Chou (Infernal Affairs), Sammo Hung (Enter the Fat Dragon), Michael Biehn (The Terminator), Li Bingbing (The Meg) and Maggie Q (Gen Y Cops).

The Legend of a Swordsman | 11/13/20

With the help of three swordsmen, residents of the village fend off terrorists who wish to do them harm. This 2020 martial arts film stars Ashton Chen (The Myth), Angelica He Jie (Hello, Mister Tree), Law Kar Ying (House of Fury), Li Yu (Panda Express), Qiu Lin (Lost on Journey), Leung Kar Yan (7 Assassins) and Gao Jun (14 Blades).

The Legend of Tomiris | 11/20/20

Based on historical heroine Queen Tomiris and her cadre of female warriors (the real-life 6th century BCE Amazonians), Akan Satayev’s The Legend of Tomiris recounts the tale of the nomad who overcame tragedy to repel Persia and unite the Great Steppe.

Jeet Kune Do | 11/27/20

Jeet Kune Do tells the story of a Bruce Lee-obsessed country bumpkin (Chen Tien-Xing) who practices Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee’s martial art) all day long, much to the dismay of his father (Bruce Leung), who had hoped his son would perfect the family’s own martial art style, the Chen fist. Chen Tien-Xing travels to the city to enter a Jeet Kune Do competition. This experience makes him learn the true meaning and spirit of Jeet Kune Do. The film is directed by Chow Jan-Wing (The Troublesome Romance) and the film’s star himself, Chen Tien-Xing (Nunchucks).
