Emergency Declaration | Blu-ray (Well Go USA)
RELEASE DATE: November 29, 2022
On November 29, 2022, Well Go USA is releasing Emergency Declaration on Blu-ray & DVD. In the tradition of airplane thrillers like Flight (2012), Sully (2016) and the recent Chinese Pilot (aka The Captain), the film is an upcoming South Korean production from director Han Jae-Rim (The King).
The film (read our review), which involves two airplane pilots who must make an emergency declaration and land their plane safely, stars heavyweights Song Kang-Ho (Parasite) and Lee Byung-Hun (I Saw the Devil). This will be the pair’s 4th film together after Joint Security Area (2000), The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008) and The Age of Shadows (2016).
Emergency Declaration also stars Jeon Do-Yeon (Memories of the Sword), Kim Nam-Gil (The Pirates), Im Si-Wan (The Merciless), Im Si-Wan (Strangers From Hell) and Kim So-Jin (The Man Standing Next).

Is it just me or is there more suspense in this trailer than in the three full movies mentioned by JJ Bona combined?

LOL It does look good. And I love airplane thrillers! The trailer is great because it has Mystery. Suspense. And a look on Song Kang-Ho’s face that I haven’t seen since Sympathy for Mister Vengeance!!!
