Rising martial arts star and YouTuber, David Kurzhal (The Last Kumite) – who is perhaps better known as Viking Samurai – gets his very first starring role in Bloodstorm, the latest low-budget actioner from cult director Rene Perez (Once Upon a Time in Deadwood).
During a transfer to a remote prison island, a determined young cop and a deadly inmate are caught in the middle of a violent prison break. Forced to rely on each other, they must fight through chaos to survive.
The film also stars Krista Hedins (Elite Target), Michael Nesto (The Last Kumite), Michael Paré (Streets of Fire), Richard Tyson (Black Hawk Down) and Silvio Simac (DOA: Dead or Alive).
Bloodstorm will be on DVD on July 22, 2025, and is currently available via VOD. Don’t miss the film’s Trailer below:

That’s actually a decent trailer for a low (no?) budget, direct to video type of action movie! You have to give Viking Samurai some credit for pursuing his dreams against the odds! Best of luck to him in his efforts.
Definitely gets credit. He seems to push forward regardless of the road ahead.
Is there gonna be a review to the movie from COF?
Rumor has it that PAUL is working on one.
