    OK, I wanna see it.

I rented Caught in Time on iTunes, and it was good. It doesn’t quite measure up to the works of Johnnie To or Kirk Wong, but it gets pretty darn close and proves that high octane crime films can still be made in China.

There are still some NRTA moments in the film that remind the audience that Chinese police are number one, but it doesn’t get in the way of good storytelling and some nice action scenes. Wang Qianyuan and Daniel Wu have good chemistry and put in good performances. They even have a version of the bath house fight from Eastern Promises where they manage to keep their towels on the whole time!

I saw it on iTunes too. It was good. Great camera work. Well edited.

  4. This is finally hitting HK Blu-ray & DVD on 28th December.
